Real-Time VIDEO Lessons!
For
those wishing to take private dulcimer lessons from me who don't live
in the Central Florida region, here's a 21st century solution: video
lessons!
These are private lessons that take place live where ever you are! All that's required is a computer with a web-cam and either Yahoo! Messenger, SKYPE, or AOL Instant Messenger.
Before your first lesson is scheduled, a test connection will be conducted to make sure that all lights are green! Lessons are $40 per hour. $35 for the second hour onward. Discount applies to single sessions If you've paid for a 1-hour lesson and would like to continue for another hour or more, use the "additional hour" option in the drop-down menu below.
Contact me about scheduling a lesson today!
I endorse Folkcraft Instruments!
Folkcraft Instruments are delightful works; I've been playing them since 1994 and they're truly world-class creations. You can see a quite a few in the gear section.
If you're looking for a mountain dulcimer, give me a holler. I not only endorse Folkcraft Instruments, I'm also a dealer!
Pictured here is Kamalani, a Koa-wood chromatic mountain dulcimer. She has a sister named Lipoa who just arrived in January of this year.
There are plenty of dulcimers ready to go and available on the Folkcraft site, but you can also have an instrument custom-made to your specifications. Contact me for more info!
I also endorse V-Picks!
I endorse, and am endorsed by, V-Picks! There are over 66 styles of these cast-acrylic wonders available. Various shapes, sizes, edge bevels and thicknesses all contribute to lightning-fast playing, fantastic tone and sustain along with the certainty that you'll never drop your pick again (the material warms to your touch and actually clings to your fingers.) I've helped them develop a Wonderpick for mountain dulcimer players and they've even named it after me! Check out the V-Pick "Bing".
