Intermediate/Advanced - Popular Music on the dulcimer! Reading from TAB, we'll learn a variety of songs from traditional tunes like "Danny Boy" and "Shenandoah" to pop culture ditties like "The Ballad of Davy Crockett" and "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"
Intermediate - Introduction to Songwriting on the dulcimer - Learn to compose your own songs, both instrumental and vocal. How to create a melody, chord changes, basic song structure, playing by "ear", writing for your voice and more!
Advanced - Introduction to electric dulcimer - as frontman for alt-Americana band Mohave, I've explored both traditional and experimental frontiers. In this workshop, we'll cover aspects of tone, volume, reverb, delay, distortion, technique and dynamics.
Beginners/Intermediate/Advanced - Jam 101 - Multi-modal jamming (attendees must have capo), soloing, percussive strumming and harmonic techniques.
