"So, this guy drops me an e-mail and says he's making this crazy instrument. Pretty soon, I'm talking with him about signing up for one. He had only made the prototype and hadn't taken one to the limit yet, so I volunteered to be that guy. There are two P-bass pickups and a piezo controlled by three-way rocker switches. Volume and tone knob, the latter of which controls the LED fret markers. Inlaid mother-of-pearl dolphin from a design that I sent over and a "wet-look" turquoise finish. Alberto arrived on the day of the tropical storm for which he was named; an appropriate debut. With the three pickups, he's capable of a wide range of sounds from gentle acoustic settings to full-on power rock and screaming metal. Fully chromatic, it's been giving me a workout."
