"Bridget \b-ridget, br(id)-get\ is pronounced BRIH-jet. It is of Gaelic origin, and its meaning is 'exalted one'. There's no kidding there, this is the first new teardrop dulcimer I've had in a while and she's something of a wonder. The volume and sustain she produces are light years beyond what most relatively new dulcimers can reproduce. With a scale length of 27", she's got a western red cedar top, black walnut sides and back, sugar maple fingerboard with wenge veneer, headstock is black walnut and heel cap and back inlay strip are wenge. L.R. Baggs pickup sounds great; loud, full and with a big spectrum delivery. She's a real singer.
Her and Annie are going to be competing for my attention here.
