"Did I mention that my wife buys me mountain dulcimers at online thrift stores? She does. And I love her for that. This one she got as a loaner for my students to use. It's a Korean-made Hondo II model dulcimer made of plywood in a teardrop shape. Sticker on the back says 'inspected by 8* *63'. Another sticker reads 'Made In Korea.' There is no 6+ fret and the headstock is unusual in that it's simply an extension of the fretboard with an unusual under-the-bar tuning system involving geared pegs. Maybe 20 years old?"
