"I first met Gary Sager and his wife Toni in 2006 and immediately thought they were really neat people. Gary knows a ton of tunes and has taught a few to me - he also makes really good dulcimers and I knew I wanted one in my collection. I told him to keep his ears open for a butternut/walnut combo that really had a big voice.

So, I picked this one up at the Ohio Valley Gathering in Lexington, Kentucky. Occasionally, I name a dulcimer after a place and in this case, since I picked her up in Lexington, I named her 'Lexie.' She has a great traditional sound and, like most of Gary's dulcimers, is feather-light. A fine addition to my collection."
