With all of the experimenting in double-necks and extra frets, it had been a long time since I'd had a great standard dulcimer. The last was Joline, but she's starting to look like Willie Nelson's guitar. So, loving the beauty of the koa wood that sister Kamalani has, but with the addition of a Western red cedar top, Lipoa has an incredible voice, great volume and a handsome dark finish.

Equipped with the Fishman Prefix Pro system and the 1+/8+ frets, she's my constant companion at festivals.
