"While up at Roscoe Village for Dulcimer Days in Coshocton, Ohio, I was urged to visit a store called Wildwood, a popular musical instrument spot. I was warned that merely entering the store would more than likely set me into a state of 'gotta-have-it', but I ventured in anyway.

Needless to say, with only three steps inside the front door, I was glued to the spot and trying to figure out which mountain dulcimer I was going to audition first.

It all came down to this nice little Folkroots dulcimer, cedar top and walnut sides and bottom. With a bright tone, great volume and a lovely warmth, the great price was enough to seal the deal. I named her Marty, after one of the stores owners."
