"My very first dulcimer, bought from Meta Stephens at the Dulcimer Shop in Knott's Berry Farm's Ghost Town. June of 1985. The instrument was new - plywood teardrop with movable bridge and no 6+. I wrote 'Thundertown' and 'Dream of You' on this dulcimer and it remained in play for awhile until I built my first instrument.

Named in honor of Walter Knott, the man who created Knott's Berry Farm."
