In 1999, Walt Disney Imagineering debuted one of their most eagerly awaited thrill experiences.
It also happened to be one of the most problem-plagued ventures that the Walt Disney Company
had ever undertaken. We couldn't have known that would be the case when we began the countdown
to opening in 1996 with this website; the first on the internet to take readers behind-the-scenes of
an E-ticket attraction in the making. This site began with initial construction and then added new chapters
with each development. All five chapters are in their original form as published between 1996 and 1999
